Predicting The Next 10 Movies That Will Make Over $1 Billion

8. Bond 24

There's little chatter about Bond 24, with only the faint hints of pre-production development entering the rumour mill (Christoph Waltz as the villain is a great shout), which means there's been a lot less hype around its box office potential when compared to the other 2015 big hitters. But that shouldn't discount it from the running; the previous movie in the series made more than The Dark Knight Rises at the worldwide box office after all. After all the good work of Casino Royale was undone by Quantum Of Solace, which took the gritty reboot and overarching narrative idea way too far, Skyfall was a measured return to form for 007 that stands as one of the best Bond films, period. And that's not an unpopular opinion - the film was absolutely adored, with audiences turning out in droves and critics raving about its reflective subtext. Skyfall could end up being a one-hit wonder, its reverential rejuvenation of the franchise on its 50th Anniversary succeeding with audiences due to hype and love of Adele rather than its own quality, but the next movie holds enough promise to prove that a waylaid view. With Sam Mendes returning to deliver on the new hierarchy of MI6 he introduced in the previous film, Bond 24 looks set to have the best possible hopes of bleeding the box office.
