Predicting The Post-Credits Scenes Of Every Major 2018 Comic-Book Movie

The Movie: Pitting almost every MCU hero against the mighty Thanos, Avengers: Infinity War promises to shake up the long-running cinematic universe in a big, big way.

Weirdly, though we've been told to expect several surprises from the film, we already know that Thanos and a bunch of major heroes will be returning for Avengers 4. Could this be something that a post-credits scene teases?

The Post-Credits Scene: Infinity War will more than likely end with our heroes defeating Thanos, or, at least, temporarily removing him from the equation in some way.

But since we know he'll be back in Avengers 4, it's not unreasonable to assume that the movie will tease his return once the credits have rolled.

So, that's what will happen here. The camera could zoom in on his eyes as they snap open, we could see a purple hand reach for the Infinity Gauntlet, or he could even be shown joining forces with Thor: Ragnarok's Hela, whose fate was left unaddressed.

Or, if our heroes lose at the end of Infinity War, then this scene could be flipped on its head (i.e. something happens that gives them the upper hand). Whichever way it goes - because this scene is essentially the midway point of a two-movie battle - something will happen here that changes the dynamic of the fight.
