The Movie: Sequel to the wildly popular first film, Deadpool 2's recent trailer and poster confirms that it'll be another crude, violent, irreverent superhero adventure.
The movie will introduce famed comic-book anti-hero Cable, alongside returning characters like Dopinder and Negasonic Teenage Warhead. Could it be more of the same? Yes. But if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
The Post-Credits Scene: Out of every entry on this list, Deadpool 2's post-credits scene is the hardest to predict - it could literally be anything. Anything. Deadpool could dress up like a badger and jump on a trampoline and it would still fit with the movie's offbeat tone.
But the nature of Deadpool and the tone of the movie does make it easy to predict what the post-credits scene won't be - it won't be formulaic and it definitely won't be serious.
Just like the first movie did, Deadpool 2 will almost certainly use this opportunity to play a joke on the audience, or mock the idea of post-credits scenes.
Using this moment to expand the universe or introduce other X-Men characters - in a franchise that mocks studio politics and cinematic universes - wouldn't really fit.
