Predicting The Rotten Tomatoes Scores Of 2019's Remaining Blockbusters

5. Frozen 2 (92%)

Although Frozen has fallen into "Avatar" territory in recent years (the mega-popular thing that people like to hate on), it's still one of the most successful animated films of all time, and is the highest-grossing one at the global box-office.

The original also earned a 90% RT score, and Disney animated films, overall, always get high ratings, consistently hitting numbers in the eighties and nineties. And there's absolutely no reason to suspect that Frozen 2 will break that trend.

The sequel looks like it's aiming to be smarter and more mature than the original, and while that decision might impact its box-office results, critics will absolutely gobble that weightier tone up. It's unreasonable to expect another all-consuming cultural sensation (or another song as notable as Let It Go), but the studio has been working on this thing for around six years, so they've had plenty of time to come up with something special.

Danny has been with WhatCulture for almost nine years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
