Ranking April 2018's Movies From Worst To Best

10. Wildling

Wildling Bel Powley
IFC Midnight

RottenTomatoes Score: 75% (6.3/10)

Box Office: There's no box office data yet available for the $2 million indie horror-fantasy's extremely limited theatrical release. Clearly, it'll make the overwhelming majority of its money from VOD sales.

Verdict: An uneven but well-crafted debut from writer-director Fritz Böhm that should please those craving a fresh spin on the werewolf genre (indebted to Ginger Snaps though it undeniably is).

Bel Powley's stupendously good performance significantly elevates everything around her - though Liv Tyler and an especially demented Brad Dourif are plenty interesting on their own merits - and while some of its third-act shenanigans won't work for everyone, the craft and talent on display is tough to deny.
