Ranking August 2017's Movies From Worst To Best

17. Naked

Naked Marlon Wayans
Netflix

RottenTomatoes Score: 0% (3.3/10)

Box Office: Marlon Wayans' latest comedy was released straight to Netflix...which is probably best for everyone.

Verdict: Taking a page out of Adam Sandler's book by taking his low-effort comedies to the streaming platform, Marlon Wayans' Naked asks the audience, "What if Bill Murray was naked throughout Groundhog Day?"

That rather lazy hook is indicative of the entire project's lack of inspiration, for while Wayans completely commits himself to his zany lead role as usual, it's another of his movies that's achingly low on laughs, and is best watched by those hungover on a Sunday afternoon.

A gem of an acquisition for Netflix this is not.
