12. Batman Forever
It's still a little baffling how much people hate Batman Forever. Sure, it wasn't Batman Returns, and the agenda to make it more accessible to family audiences cost it a lot of cool points, but it's still an enjoyable (if supremely silly) comic book movie.
Val Kilmer's Batman is massively under-appreciated, Jim Carrey's Riddler likewise and the story of Edward Nygma seeking to turn professional rivalry with Bruce Wayne into something grander would form the model for almost every Iron Man movie villain. So there was definitely something there.
The problems are just as easy to reel off however: Tommy Lee Jones' Two Face is just the Joker in another outfit, the script seems to value T-shirt slogans over authentic speech and the aesthetic is a weird neon nightmare.
