In the early '90s, Tim Burton had a plan to spin-off Catwoman from his delightfully dark Batman movies, bringing back Michelle Pfeiffer - who expressed her continued interest as late as 1995 - but it was hamstrung badly by Batman Forever's swerve towards family friendly waters.

Instead, almost 10 years later Halle Berry pulled on the mask as a new Catwoman - Patience Phillips - who is drowned by a cosmetics magnate (worst villain EVER) to cover up the rogue side effects of her miracle age-defying cream. It's absolute garbage, and if it was possible to put a wah-wah trumpet sound in here, I would.

Berry is awful, her costume is awful, the villains are awful, the script is awful. It's an absolute abomination and a slur against the good-name of the character Pfeiffer had brought to life so incredibly in Batman Returns. A decade-plus later, it's legitimately unwatchable.
