Ranking Every Tobe Hooper Film From Worst To Best
6. Eaten Alive
Eaten Alive was Tobe Hooper's follow-up to The Texas Chainsaw Massace, and it's pure '70s trash... in the best possible way.
You know how Texas Chainsaw is subtle until it goes off big time in the final act, with Leatherface running around with his chainsaw aloft and Marilyn Burns screaming her lungs out? Eaten Alive is like this throughout.
It's a high-octane horror about a deranged hotel owner who feeds his guests to a giant crocodile, for no reason beyond being batsh**t crazy.
Okay, so the crocodile looks fake and doesn't get nearly enough screen time, but if you want B-movie bonkers, you know which hotel to check into.
