Ranking February 2015’s Movies From Worst To Best

15. Outcast

RottenTomatoes Score: 8% (3.8/10 average) Box Office: Despite being released in quarters of Asia over the last few months and finally getting a limited release in the US at the start of February, no financial data is available for the movie, which pretty much says it all. This is another of those lame-brained action flicks that plasters its "lead star" all over the front cover, but in the final product, their screen time is suspiciously scarce. Yes, Nicolas Cage is touted as the feature attraction of this period adventure film, but he's in it for less than 25 of its 99 minutes, leaving the ever-creaky Hayden Christensen to pick up the slack as the real protagonist. The accents, for one, are all over the place, but at least they provide a few perverse laughs. The plotting meanwhile sucks, the direction and editing are both awful, and though it does boast a few handsome shots, overall it's one of the worst things Cage has ever starred in.
