Ranking February 2019's Movies From Worst To Best
12. The Kid Who Would Be King
Rotten Tomatoes Score: 90% (6.85/10)
Box Office: The $59 million Brit adventure film never really stood much of a chance of breaking out worldwide, and depressingly, it hasn't even managed to recoup half its budget back yet.
Factoring in marketing costs, it's expected to lose around $50 million overall. Considering that every single major King Arthur movie has bombed over the last few decades, why does Hollywood keep persisting regardless? A fine movie, but everybody should've seen this coming.
Verdict: Joe Cornish (Attack the Block) returns with another thoroughly entertaining action-adventure flick which boasts a charming cast, a script both hilarious and low-key poignant, and some entertainingly daft action sequences.
It definitely has the potential to become a cult classic in the future, because no film this good should flop this badly with general audiences.
