RottenTomatoes Score: 43% (4.7/10) Box Office: Made for $20 million, most box office projections see Max opening to around $10-13 million, which while far from stunning should see it do well enough to make an OK profit when home sales are included. The Verdict: Here's another movie where audiences know exactly what they're getting: it's a sentimental, schmaltzy film about a cute dog, and it mostly delivers on that front. However, the emotional manipulation is totally lacking in subtlety, and the overwhelmingly patriotic tone struck some critics the wrong way. You already know if you're seeing it, and that's that.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
