Box Office: The $28 million ensemble comedy didn't open as hot as you might expect for a movie with a premise this great and a cast this talented, but it's still within spitting distance of doubling its budget.

Perhaps not quite successful enough to warrant the sequel it teases at the end, but not exactly a failure either.

Verdict: Though the R-rated comedy could've done much more with its sizzling concept and cast, Tag is nevertheless a consistently funny, action-packed romp topped by a scene-stealing performance from Jeremy Renner.

There are a few tonal issues and a certain protracted gag that won't fly with everyone, but it's an easy, fun time at the movies for the most part.
