Ranking March 2015’s Movies From Worst To Best

14. Tracers

RottenTomatoes Score: 19% (4.4/10 average) Box Office: Despite costing a sizable $11 million, Tracers was released in just 12 cinemas in mid-March, grossing a mere $2,000 (that's a laughable per-cinema average of $167). Even factoring in international sales (where it's already available on pay-per-view), it's dead on arrival. The Verdict: Well, it's better than Abduction, which scored 4% on Rotten Tomatoes back in 2011, but Tracers has still been given a tawdry release for a reason: it's just not very good. The script plays to Taylor Lautner's strengths and some of the visuals are solid, but the shell story is garden variety thriller fare, and parkour just isn't as exciting to watch here as the filmmakers clearly think it is. Also, though you might expect a certain so-bad-it's-good quality with Lautner attached, it sadly won't bring you many laughs because it's just not unthinkably bad, unfortunately for some. It's more dull than anything.
