Ranking March 2015’s Movies From Worst To Best

13. Get Hard

RottenTomatoes Score: 32% (4.3/10 average) Box Office: Get Hard releases in cinemas this weekend, and box office analysts peg it to come in at either the #1 or #2 slot with around $35 million, just short of its $40 million budget. Basically, with fanbases as strong as Will Ferrell's and Kevin Hart's and practically no significant R-rated comedy competition, there's no way this movie isn't in the black by next week. The Verdict: Most critics have confessed that there was certainly a great movie crying to come out of Get Hard, a daring send-up of race relations in the modern world, but instead of this, it pretty much settles for being lazily offensive. The satire route could've made this a modern classic, and with two comedians as weirdly well-matched as Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart, it still can't help but be somewhat diverting, but the overabundance of jokes about rape and racial stereotypes makes it feel painfully lowbrow from start to finish.
