Ranking March 2017's Movies From Worst To Best
5. Personal Shopper
RottenTomatoes Score: 79% (7.1/10)
Box Office: The $5.6 million Kristen Stewart-starring drama has made almost $1 million during a limited theatrical engagement (150 theaters in the U.S.), but the home video release should multiply this many times over.
Verdict: Stewart gives one of her best performances to date in Olivier Assayas' (Clouds of Sils Maria) unquantifiable psychological thriller.
A ghost story with a real difference, it's better to go into Personal Shopper knowing as little as possible, and while its restrained approach to the genre won't be to all tastes, it is nothing if not fiercely original, and Stewart's performance alone makes it worth at least one viewing.
A modern take on a familiar idea, this has future cult classic status written all over it.
