Ranking March 2017's Movies From Worst To Best

16. Fist Fight

Fist Fight Ice Cube Charlie Day
Warner Bros.

RottenTomatoes Score: 27% (3.9/10)

Box Office: Also budgeted at a svelte $25 million, Fist Fight opened below initial projections, and has just cracked $40 million to date. Not what Warner Bros. were hoping for, but hardly a disaster either, and like CHiPS, it'll be a rental for a lot of people.

Verdict: As great as the idea of casting Ice Cube and Charlie Day opposite one another is, they're left stranded with a bland script and TV-level direction that make Fist Fight one of the year's most forgettable films so far.

Cube and Day work well together and the film clearly has something genuine to say about America's education system, but considering you won't remember it in a week, that message falls mostly upon deaf ears. Yawn.
