Ranking March 2017's Movies From Worst To Best

15. Smurfs: The Lost Village

Smurfs The Lost Village
Columbia Pictures

RottenTomatoes Score: 24% (4.0/10)

Box Office: With the movie having only had a limited international roll-out so far, the future of the Smurfs franchise won't be clear until its April 7th U.S. release, but it'd be a shock if it flopped, even with competition from The Boss Baby.

Verdict: You know what? It's not that bad, really. The new Smurfs film may be a fairly bland animated effort for the most part, but it's leagues ahead of the live-action Smurfs movies, and basically feels like what the series should've tried to do from the outset.

The animation is solid and it's totally inoffensive, but older viewers (namely parents) will probably find themselves wishing for a little more subversive wit to keep them awake.
