Ranking March 2017's Movies From Worst To Best

13. Ghost In The Shell

RottenTomatoes Score: 42% (5.5/10)

Box Office: The controversial anime adaptation under-performed against expectations, pulling in $59 million worldwide in its opening weekend, which against a $110 million budget isn't really good enough. This one's a bomb.

Verdict: Much like Power Rangers, it's far from perfect, but Ghost in the Shell is a more faithful and spirited adaptation of the source material than expected, driven by Scarlett Johansson's strong performance and plenty of eyeball-melting visuals.

The racial controversy gets even weirder when you actually watch the film, and the final villain is rather on the weak side, so don't be surprised if this is one of the most divisive and argument-creating movies of the year.
