Ranking March 2017's Movies From Worst To Best

14. Power Rangers

RottenTomatoes Score: 48% (5.1/10)

Box Office: The Rangers reboot launched above expectations with an impressive $40.3 million opening weekend. It's just a case of seeing whether or not the movie has legs enough to multiply that $100 million budget several times over. It's about to break even with its budget, but that might not be enough to guarantee a sequel.

Verdict: Fans of the original Power Rangers TV show will find themselves totally at home with this weirdly character-driven superhero reboot, which benefits from strong casting and slick direction, even if there's some questionable juvenile humour and a bunch of Krispy Kreme product placement so blatant there should probably be a law against it

A solid foundation for more movies, but it could've done with more action and a smoother tone, considering how it goes from dead serious to howlingly silly at a moment's notice. Much better than most seemed to expect, though.
