Ranking November 2015’s Movies From Worst To Best

13. Legend

RottenTomatoes Score: 59% (5.9/10) Box Office: The $25 million thriller has made a solid $36.3 million. Not a major success, but factoring in VOD and Blu-ray, it'll do just fine. Verdict: Though it doesn't meet the high standard audiences might expect from L.A. Confidential screenwriter Brian Helgeland, it's hard to argue with Tom Hardy's go-for-broke dual performance as the legendary gangsters known as the Kray twins. Hardy hurls himself into both parts and is an unforgettable mix of uproariously hilarious and genuinely terrifying. It hews too close to crime thriller cliches on occasion, but it still gives Hardy a fantastic canvas on which to prove he's one of the best actors working today. Had the script been more refined, he'd probably be in the Oscar conversation right now.
