Ranking November 2015’s Movies From Worst To Best

11. Spectre

RottenTomatoes Score: 64% (6.4/10) Box Office: With a stonking $250 million budget, Spectre needed to be a smash hit right out of the gate to be a success, but considering that it's followed on from the most profitable Bond ever, it's not much of a surprise that Bond 24 is killing it, just passing the $700 million mark. That said, its performance so far suggests that it will probably land slightly shy of Skyfall's $1.109 billion cume, but still ending up a colossal hit nevertheless. Verdict: Though falling far short of Skyfall's brilliance, Spectre is nevertheless an entertaining Bond outing, though unfortunately inviting much more of the camp and silliness back to the series that so many fans had been long fed up of. The plot also doesn't feel anywhere near as tight this time, there are huge plot holes, the romantic arc doesn't really work and Christoph Waltz is criminally under-utilised as the villain. Yes, it's underwhelming, but it's still better than Quantum Of Solace, and reaffirms how perfectly-cast Craig is in the role.
