Ranking November 2016's Movies - From Worst To Best

11. A Street Cat Named Bob

Fantastic Beasts Arrival Bad Santa 2
Sony Pictures Releasing

RottenTomatoes Score: 74% (5.7/10)

Box Office: Boosted by a hugely impressive performance in the UK, the feel-good drama has grossed a strong $5.73 million to date, making it an easy success given the clearly low budget.

Verdict: Though it's ultimately a fairly simplistic look at the toils of drug addiction, this true story translates into an effortlessly enjoyable redemption tale, thanks to not only Luke Treadaway's solid lead performance but his adorable feline pal Bob, who was reportedly played by the actual Bob for most of the movie's shoot.

It will be too quirky and cute for some, and on a filmmaking level it admittedly feels rather amateur, but charm counts for a lot, and easily pushes this one over the top.
