14. Kingsman: The Golden Circle

Box Office: Though it opened slightly below most projections, the Kingsman sequel still opened higher than the first film, and has already effortlessly recouped its $104 million budget. Kingsman 3 is pretty much confirmed, then.

Verdict: Perhaps the year's most disappointing film so far, the second Kingsman movie isn't without its entertaining moments, but it suffers from its brutally excessive length, a failure to make the most of its incredible ensemble cast, and a number of questionable plot elements that are either lazy or scarcely coherent.

While it's certainly not bad enough to derail the franchise entirely, the inevitable third film needs to try much harder.
