6. Boris The Blade

Snatch Brad Pitt
Sony Pictures

Who: infamously unkillable ex-KGB agent.

What he knows about diamonds: in a world of wolves and wannabes, Boris the Blade is no pretender. Cross him at your own peril - he keeps an AK-74M assault rifle at home in case of a rainy day. He takes punishment over the course of the film that would end a lesser man, surviving being hit by a car and getting shot multiple times. All this really does is send him into a berserk, relentless rage.

Known as "the Bullet Dodger" ("because he... dodges bullets, Avi"), Boris is among the main players interested in grabbing the central diamond. Boris receives the intel from his brother that Franky Four Fingers is carrying a precious stone, and is tasked with acquiring it... preferably non-violently. This leads Boris to hire Sol and Vinny to carry out the robbery - which is his mistake.

When the pair botch the theft, Boris is forced to take matters into his own hands in order to grab the stone. Unfortunately, there are other players on the board, and when the Bullet-Dodger encounters Bullet Tooth Tony, his reputation as impossible to kill that is put to the ultimate test.

Best quote: "Heavy is good, heavy is reliable. If it doesn't work you can always hit them with it.” Boris is quite the salesman.
