Ranking Tom Hardy's Accents From Weird To Really Weird

4. Shinzon - Star Trek: Nemesis

One role that even the most feverish of Tom Hardy fans may have overlooked hails all the way back to 2001, when the actor - then in his early twenties - starred opposite Patrick Stewart in the poorly-received film Star Trek: Nemesis. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJJDRmtivWI In the movie, Hardy played a villainous character called Shinzon - an entitled dandy who talks with a smug royal lisp. He's just about the most inherently insufferable character Hardy has ever played (well, aside from his obnoxiously "British" CIA agent in the ill-judged rom-com This Means War). And the accent... well, it's just bloody weird, isn't it? A mish-mash of Hardy's normal voice, Eames and Bane - by way of an Oxford education.
