Shang-Chi: 8 Characters Who Should Appear

3. Jimmy Woo

S.H.I.E.L.D. agent turned FBI agent Jimmy Woo made his MCU debut in last year's Ant-Man and the Wasp, the determined but lovable agent often stealing the show with what little screentime he had. Assigned to monitor Scott Lang's house arrest, Woo was certain that Scott was back to operating as a superhero throughout the film, though he eventually set Scott free by the end of the film.

Woo's comic history is fascinating, as he has existed since the time of Atlas Comics before it evolved into Marvel Comics, and has crossed paths with numerous characters over the decades, including Shang-Chi. Even his future in the MCU is interesting, as he's set to appear in WandaVision, which suggests that his role as an investigator into superheroes may have increased in-universe following his time assigned to Ant-Man.

Whatever the case may be, finding a way to include Jimmy Woo in Shang-Chi's film feels like a no-brainer. First off, the MCU can always use more Randall Park. Secondly, in a film like this, a huge moment for Asian representation in big Hollywood projects, featuring Woo would be a great way to honor his comic legacy of being one of Marvel's oldest, usually non-stereotypical Asian characters.
