Skyfall: 10 Reasons It's A Best Picture Oscar Contender

3. It's One Of Bond's Best Films

Indeed, Skyfall is one of the best films of the year, not only according to me, but also the several hundred other critics on Rotten Tomatoes, where it stands tall at a 92% fresh rating, with an 8.2 average, ranking it among the very best-reviewed films of 2012. As a result, it is quite obviously, as the Rotten Tomatoes blurb says, one of the best James Bond films to date, and some will even go as far as to argue that it is the best. Thus, many have become enthusiastic about pushing it for top awards, for its nomination would therefore validate it as the pinaccle of the series, and frankly, given the array of Oscar-nominated talented on board, this is probably the most Academy-friendly, realistic chance the series has ever had at gaining prestigious recognition.
