9. The Conveyex Heist

Han and Chewie's first job as part of Beckett's crew is to rob a Conveyex train on the planet Vandor-1, which has a large shipment of the precious hyperfuel coaxium onboard.

It's a terrifically thrilling sequence, largely thanks to the unconventionally twisty design of the train itself, the perilous heights involved and, of course, all the shooting that inevitably ensues.

Things pick up considerably when Enfys Nest and her fellow Cloud Riders show up on hovercrafts, after which both Han and Chewie nearly get knocked off the side of the train, poor Rio (Jon Favreau) is mortally wounded by blaster fire and Val (Thandie Newton) blows herself up for the good of the heist.

Han ends up ditching the coaxium shipment to ensure their escape, but even so, the sequence is proof perfect of just how great a director Ron Howard can be when he's got something unique to sink his teeth into.
