10. Everything About Donald Glover's Lando

Donald Glover might not be playing the title character, but it's plain for all to see that the writer, artist, actor, director and talent is Solo's main draw.

As Lando (played by Billy Dee Williams in the Original Trilogy), Glover is branching out into new territory. The would-be Baron Administrator of Cloud City is in the burgeoning moments of his career come this particular prequel, and while Glover lacked any dialogue in the trailer, everyone knows he was the best thing about it.

There are a few things we know have to happen in the film: Lando will lose the Falcon to Han in a game of Sabacc, and the two will grow estranged by its end. Until then, Glover has all the best bits of the friendship to portray, including their first meeting, the game in question and, if the trailer is anything to go by, the Kessel Run itself.

Lando has always been one of Star Wars' more overlooked characters, and while he lacked a final bow in The Last Jedi, it's great to see the hero return to the limelight once again, particularly when one of the most formidable auteurs of our generation is in the role.
