11. What Was The Lizard's Plan?
The main antagonist of The Amazing Spider-Man is Doctor Curt Connors. After losing his arm, he uses a lizard’s regenerating properties to create a concoction that will regrow his limb. However, the reptile’s DNA turns Connors into a monster called The Lizard. Not only does he regain his arm but he becomes far stronger, faster, and is able to heal from almost any injury.
Because he returns to normal within a few hours, he must inject himself with the concoction again to become The Lizard once more. Connors wants everyone to feel as strong as he does so he plans to turn everyone in the city into lizard hybrids.
But there’s one part of this plan that nobody addresses. If Connors achieves his plan, everyone will turn into lizards… and then back to normal after a few hours. So, what is Connor’s long-term goal?
