Spider-Man: 13 Film Moments That Don't Make ANY Sense
10. How Does Parker Make His Costume In The First Raimi Film?
In Spider-Man: Homecoming, Peter Parker wears a crummy self-made spidersuit. Knowing that his get-up is not up to standard, Tony Stark gives Parker a drastically modified outfit. This is a perfect explanation how Spidey obtained his iconic costume.
But how did he get his suit in the original Spider-Man films? Does he have super-sewing skills? How much money did it cost? Isn't he struggling financially? What does he do when the suit gets burned or ripped? Repairing it is going to cost even more money (which he doesn't have) so how does he afford it?
You might think, ‘Well, it’s a comic book movie. How else can you explain it?’ Well, the comic actually has a really simple explanation. As is depicted in the film, Spidey tries to make some extra cash at a wrestling gig. When the wrestling manager congratulates Parker on his victory in the ring, he points out that his costume sucks so he needs a new one and so, has his team make Spider-Man's iconic suit.
See, movie? All you had to do is copy the comic and you couldn't even do that.
