In Spider-Man: Homecoming, Tony Stark berates Peter Parker after he misuses Stark's spidersuit. Many viewers have pointed out that Stark is being hypocritical in this scene since he was the one who gifted Parker with an outfit with an Instant Kill Mode.

In Stark's defence, he installed a tracker onto the costume so he would know where Spider-Man is at all times and if he was using the suit appropriately.

However, this tracker is deactivated by Parker's best friend, Ned Leeds.

Just to remind you, Tony Stark is probably the smartest person in the world. And yet, a teenager was able to hack his hardware. Also, Leeds isn't the super genius. Peter Parker is. So why is Leeds able to hack it and Parker can't?
