8. Doctor Octopus Should Be REALLY Easy To Beat
Fans often forget how ridiculous strong Spider-Man is. Although he doesn't look intimidating, the wallcrawler can lift a whopping 20 tons. He's actually stronger than most of his enemies including Green Goblin, Venom, and the Lizard.
Despite the fact that Spider-Man usually has the upper hand in terms of strength, most of his villains can hold their own against him. Green Goblin can take a punch because his costume is heavily armoured.
Venom can go toe-to-toe with Spidey since his strength is enhanced by the Symbiote. The Lizard can fight all day without suffering exhaustion due to his regenerating factor.
However, there is no reason why Doctor Octopus could survive a single punch.
Although Doc Ock is armed with four metallic tentacles, he has the strength of a regular man - not to mention a regular human face.
There is no explanation how he can withstand being battered by a man who can lift over 40,000lbs.
One strike from Spider-Man should knock his head clean off.
