9. Nick Fury Will Appear

Rumour:

Despite him looking like Dead Meat for years now, Nick Fury will apparently make it out of Avengers 4 alive and will appear in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

That comes courtesy of his Instagram post revealing him preparing to get back into character, which was seemingly posted AFTER Captain Marvel wrapped and from London, where Far From Home is filming.

Reaction:

Let's be honest, Fury needs something to do. Even if he's involved in Captain Marvel heavily (which it's fair to assume he is), he hasn't done anything in the modern MCU for ages, despite heading off to embed deeper and work towards the common goals of The Avengers (vague, but that's all we had to work on, really).

Could it be that Fury appears to let Peter Parker know that he still has a mentor to look up to in the Avengers? Or that he can still rely on support? It would make sense if he's going to be involved in whatever Avengers/team-up project follows Avengers 4.
