Spider-Man: Far From Home Trailer Review - 7 Ups & 4 Downs

1. It Doesn't Spoil TOO Much

There's a lot to marvel at in this trailer (and the international teaser that was released parallel to it) and it's possible to get a general shape of the film's plot, but it thankfully stops short of spoiling too much.

We might see Mysterio for the first time and can work some things out about him and Nick Fury's in there, but the actual substance of the story - the reason for Fury's appearance, the mission he sends Peter on, how the other villains (like Michael Keaton's Vulture and Michael Mando's Scorpion) might fit into things - is thankfully left to teasing.

Sure, it's a little jarring to see Peter in a country other than America, given how tied to New York he is, but there's both enough hinted at here without over-doing it to suggest that the difference is going to be welcome. And that's cool by all of us.
