3. The Supporting Cast Members
Obviously "Michelle" has now been revealed to be Mary Jane, Entertainment Weekly recently also revealed that Tony Revolori, Jacob Batalon and Laura Harrier are playng Flash, Ned and Liz respectively.
"Flash" is obviously Flash Thompson, the bully in high school from the comics who idolizes Spider-Man. Revolori's casting suggests he's probably not going to be your typical bully, and it will be interesting to see whether he will go on to play Venom in a future movie as Thompson did in the comics.
Liz is comic character Liz Allan, another potential love interest for Peter and Flash's girlfriend who would go on to marry Harry Osborn. It's revealed her half-brother is Mark Raxton AKA villain Molten Man. Don't expect to see that happen.
Ned is Ned Leeds, a Daily Bugle employee in the comics and a rival to Parker. He too went on to have a villain link, being brainwashed and turning into the second Hobgoblin. Again, that's not really likely to happen, but the rivalry may well.
