Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 - 10 Things Fans Demand

1. Kraven The Hunter

While much of Homecoming 2's plot has been kept closely under wraps, one element of the film has been speculated on heavily following a series of rumours pertaining to its villain. That Hashtag Show - which seems to be the source of every rumour these days - reported that, on top of the project casting a "femme fatale" to star opposite Peter (Black Cat, anyone?), Marvel were also looking to cast a villain "with elevated ideas" that brings Peter outside of his New York bubble.

Granted, that bubble has already been popped by the cosmic influences of Avengers: Infinity War, but still, Spidey has never really been one to venture outside of the United States. He did so in Civil War obviously, and though you could argue that Tony Stark himself is man chockfull of "elevated ideas", instinct says that this isn't a character to be trusted.

There are obvious choices for who this character could be, including Norman Osborn (Green Goblin), Otto Octavius (Doctor Octopus), or perhaps even Alistair Smythe. One villain who most certainly does have elevated ideas, however - and one that fans have been desperate to see for some time now - is Kraven the Hunter.

He featured heavily in the beloved nineties Spider-Man animated show, and Kraven's Last Hunt is often heralded as the greatest Spidey comic of all. It should be more than enough to convince Marvel that he's ready for the big screen, and with the opportunity to do so now in place, it makes sense for Homecoming 2 to bring Sergei Kravinoff to another medium.
