Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 - 10 Things Fans Demand
4. Cameos From Famous Spidey Rogues
The delineation between the MCU's cinematic properties and its TV ones is... odd, to say the least. Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and all the other series pay constant homage to the events of the films, but when it comes to recognition the relationship looks like something of a one way street.
For fans wishing to see Daredevil link up with Spider-Man, or Luke Cage link up with The Avengers, it's endlessly frustrating. And while Infinity War's makers have admitted that they "considered" including the TV characters, the logistics - ostensibly - proved too difficult for such a move to make it off the drawing board.
That hasn't stopped actors from asking for such a crossover happening though, whether it be Charlie Cox referencing Daredevil's past with Black Widow in interviews, or Kingpin actor Vincent D'Onofrio contemplating a battle with Spider-Man. There's a clear willingness for these connections to be expanded on the silver screen, and though the logistics of getting D'Onofrio's Fisk to tassel with Spidey may indeed prove difficult, surely a nod - an Easter Egg - wouldn't be too difficult to include?
Kingpin is at the top of the list when it comes to Spidey villains yet to be broached explicitly by the web-head on the big screen, and while he forms just one of many rogues in the wall-crawler's gallery, a nod - even in passing - wouldn't go amiss.
