So after months of speculation, it turns out that Zendaya's Michelle is in fact MJ - or a new version of her the same way Ned is a new version of Ned Leeds.

In the finale, she reveals that her friends call her "MJ", before she gives Peter a loaded look that very much suggests that she's going to be a romantic interest for him after all. Let's hope that doesn't compromise on her sass.

As an added bonus, in the background of her revelation you can see the school's tiger mascot appear, which rather pleasantly calls back to MJ's first words to Peter in her comic book debut: "Face it Tiger, You just hit the jackpot!"
