2. Carnage (Or Nearly Him)

Why It COULD Be Him

Whatever character Michael Mando is playing remains unnamed on the official cast-list, and until anyone says otherwise, the idea that he's playing Cletus Kasady (who later goes on to play Carnage) still feels like the strongest suggestion.

Kasady is a career criminal - a psychopath and a homicidal sadist - and he would be a sensible choice to play part of the criminal heist gang, particularly given how well Mando has played intense villains in the past. This is not to say that he would actually "suit up" as Carnage, but if he survives this film, who's to say he can't come back for a sequel (or a Sony-led spin-off of Sinister Six) as the red symbiote?

Why It Might Not Be

It's probably too good to be true. And of course, some would say that Marvel would be ludicrous to have so many villains involved when Spider-Man movies have twice been derailed by splitting focus on too many bad guys. They're not dumb, they will have learned from those issues, so maybe don't hold out any hope for Carnage.
