In terms of bringing comic book characters to live-action life, J.K. Simmons is J. Jonah Jameson.
For three Sam Raimi movies and a brief Far From Home cameo, Simmons had been pitch perfect as the Daily Bugle boss. Here, we got to see a little more from Jonah than just that fleeting Far From Home appearance.
Jameson was every inch Jameson in No Way Home, looking to take every possible shot he could against Spider-Man and downplay the heroic work done by the Wall-crawler. Whatever has gone wrong in New York City, it's Spider-Man's fault. Whatever has gone right in New York City, it's absolutely no thanks to Spidey.
