4. Electro - The Amazing Spider-Man 2

Though he wasn't all that well received in the end, The Amazing Spider-Man 2'a Electro (played by Jamie Foxx) actually did look great thanks to a good design and some really under-appreciated effects work.

He could have looked quite different though, as artist Keith Christensen envisaged him with a more traditional supervillain look (and more than a little of the remade Fantastic Four's Dr Doom about him).
