As well as having Mysterio as his secondary villain in the unmade Spider-Man 4, Sam Raimi wanted to bring John Malkovich in to play his version of The Vulture, who would have apparently had a comic accurate design.

Thanks to some story board art, we know there was some consideration to have a bald Vulture with at least some design leads from the comics - such as the feathered neckline and the claws. That's not to say this is exactly how he would have looked, but there must have been some artistic conversations behind the boarding process...

And as another board revealed, Vulture would have worked with Sandman in one version of the script. And it seems he would have been a much more raggedy villain than the sleek, military look Michael Keaton would boast in Spider-Man: Homecoming...
