Star Trek: Every Starfleet Starship Class Ranked Worst To Best

28. Constellation

Star Trek Constellation Class

The Constellation class ships were in service from the 2330's to the 2360's, with the USS Stargazer being one of the best examples. The ship was commanded by Captain Jean-Luc Picard.

The Constellation class ships, like the later Prometheus class and earlier Cardenas class ships, had four warp nacelles as an experiment on the warp field generated. The ship's interiors were similar to the refit Constitution class vessels from the late 22nd century.

However, as the ship remained in service, it was refit and the interiors were updated. The USS Hathaway featured a significantly different interior when it was put to use in battle simulations between it and the USS Enterprise.
