Who Is He? Miles Teller has exploded on to the scene with a fantastic turn in the relentless and gripping Whiplash. Ever since that movie came out, the world has stood up and taken notice of this young star's pup-like energy, clear-eyed intelligence and determination. Why He's Great For Solo: If Whiplash taught you one thing, it's that Miles Teller is comfortable playing a lead role. This young actor has a glint in his eye that immediately fills one of the Solo criteria. Furthermore, in Whiplash, there's a satisfying sense that his character is working things out for himself, and that he allows his passion to drive him. There's more Solo criteria filled then. What's more, he fits the playing age bracket. Another criterion filled. Give him the part, surely? On The Other Hand... The Fantastic Four reboot is set to come to our screens in 2015, and Teller has been given the lead role of Reed Richards. While his character creations are solid, it remains to be seen if this young talent can convincingly trade blows and come up smiling. Furthermore, one great movie won't guarantee anything.
