6. Cosplayers Who Are Full Of Themselves

So the costume is awesome, not too elaborate, and the cosplayer makes it look great. Still there's nothing more embarrassing than someone who acts like once they've dressed up they have actually become that character. Everyone is familiar with this type of cosplayer. The Darth Maul who really thinks he could destroy you with fancy moves and lightsaber tactics or the Boba Fett with the punch-you-in-the-face-if-you-mess-with-me attitude just because I am Boba Fett today. The problem with any type of role-playing is when the lines between make believe and reality becomes blurred. Cosplayers who are full of themselves and how great they look in costume really are just an alienating nuisance to the world around them. They might not realize it, but their ensemble is nothing short than cringeworthy.
