8. C-3PO Prevents Incest - The Empire Strikes Back

One of the more divisive if undeniably hilarious deleted scenes from Empire takes place as Luke recuperates from being attacked by a Wampa on Hoth.

Luke and Leia then have a heart-to-heart, where Luke prepares himself to make a romantic declaration to his unbeknown sister. As the two move in close for a kiss, C-3PO saves the day by interrupting them.

Granted, the scene would play as incredibly weird in retrospect, knowing that the pair are siblings, and it's markedly different from the more playful kiss that actually made it into the movie.

However, for those of us with a perverse sense of humour, knowing that it was only because of a droid that they didn't start passionately making out is pretty damn funny.
