Star Wars: 4 Things We Want To See At A Jedi Wedding

2. A Well Written Service

qqqq Please, Disney, don€™t let George Lucas write an official Jedi Wedding service. The last thing we need is for a Jedi priest to start spouting weird analogies about sand. Anyway, that horrible concept aside, a Jedi-themed wedding service has the potential to go beyond generic sci-fi hokum and be very moving. Because, as much as the incessant relists hate us to think this, a lot of the values of the Jedi can be applied to real life. The way of the Jedi is to defend the vulnerable, keep the peace, and to use your abilities (whatever they may be) for the forces of good. Strip away the concept of the Force and that€™s a very good and very plausible way to live your life. And it€™s things like this that make me think that, providing it€™s well written, a Jedi Wedding service could be very moving as well as have a great deal of relevance to real life. Jedi not being allowed to love is kind of an obstacle to a good Jedi marriage service but we can work through that later.
