3. Yoda Is The Definitive Star Wars Icon

This reason is pretty simple: Yoda is probably the most recognized
Star Wars character of 'em all - or at least the most famous good guy. He's famous because he's Yoda - and that's reason enough - but as a character he's wise and friendly and powerful and incredibly iconic, meaning he's also terribly important to the
Star Wars brand: do Disney really want to risk taking an icon like Yoda and jeopardizing his legacy with an out of place solo adventure? Some might argue that George Lucas already trampled all over Yoda's legacy with his ill-fated prequels, but luckily he's still a character with weight (and a fanbase). Is Yoda, like their own Mickey Mouse, too important for Disney to mess around with for the sake of a spin-off?
